Wild Crimson
Let's
start December with a classic red quilt. I cut a variety of red
prints into quarter square triangles and started stitching light and
dark ones together.
I
juggled the blocks around on my design wall till I was satisfied with the
arrangement. After adding 2” black weave and 4” red dot borders, Wild
Crimson measures 48” square.
A
serpentine stitch with red thread across the seams makes a lovely
pattern. I especially enjoyed making this lap quilt because I added it to my Christmas donation
stack. I'll tell you more about that project later this month.
