Blue Collar

Labor Day so I'm featuring a quilt made from plaid and striped shirting with miscellaneous blue scraps. The corners are cream prints.
This 10” kaleidoscope block makes for quick work. I love the way the alternating coloring creates secondary patterns.
I previewed using EQ8, then fine tuned the layout on my design wall before sewing. White on cream tiny print makes a simple backing and binding. I quilted with cream thread in an allover clamshell pattern using a circle ruler. Blue Collar finished at 51” square.
